Dr. Kelly Vogel

DVM

Dr. Vogel’s love of animals began at an early age. Born and raised in New Jersey, she began working with animals while attending high school here in Howell, and volunteering at the Monmouth County SPCA. While working to graduate with honors and program distinction from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, she also dedicated time to The Seeing Eye, as a puppy raiser. Her German shepherd puppy was later dismissed from the program for health reasons and lives a spoiled life at home with Dr. Vogel.

During this time, Dr. Vogel also began working as an assistant here at Jackson Veterinary Clinic gaining a wealth of experience and guidance towards advancing in the profession.

Dr. Vogel went on to further her education at Oklahoma State Center for Veterinary Health Sciences with a New Jersey seat scholarship. While attending veterinary school she became a founding member of the Canine Practitioners Club which held lectures and events helping students to broaden their knowledge of Canine Veterinary Medicine.
During summer breaks Dr. Vogel traveled to Costa Rica and Panama with a spay and neuter program assisting veterinarians and at Banfield Pet Hospitals.

In her fourth year of college Dr. Vogel participated in externship programs at Jackson Veterinary Clinic, Six Flags Adventure Safari and the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Upon graduating, she has returned to Jackson Veterinary Clinic where she has been practicing since July of 2013.

Dr. Magdalena Peltier

DVM

Dr. Peltier grew up on Long Island in a household full of pets including, boa constrictors, tarantulas, tropical fish, raccoons and, of course, dogs and cats. She was especially close to her pony mare, “Rocket”, and went on to ride race horses professionally at Belmont Race Track before setting her sights on a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Peltier completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Cornell University. She then went on to earn her Master of Science (Equine Nutrition and Reproductive Physiology) and Doctor of Veterinary medicine degrees at the University of Florida. Dr. Peltier then completed an internship in rural animal medicine at the University of Florida. Her first years as a practicing veterinarian were in mixed animal and later small animal practice in rural Utah.

After several years in Utah, Dr. Peltier moved with her family to Howell, NJ in 2005. She has practiced at Jackson Veterinary Clinic since that time. When not practicing at the office, Dr. Peltier, enjoys spending time with her special needs son, Ethan (non-verbal autistic), daughter Eponine and husband of 19 years, Morgan. Pet family members include Lola, a rescue English Bulldog and Blaze, a recently adopted kitty with Feline Aids.

Dr. Peltier is very enthusiastic about the recent ownership of Jackson Veterinary Clinic and is looking forward to providing thorough, experienced and compassionate care to your furry family members.
